On the zipline we use certified equipment designed specifically for this activity. Harnesses, helmets, pulleys and cables go through rigorous quality checks and strength tests to guarantee their reliability. Vertika also follows strict safety protocols, making sure the equipment is inspected regularly and kept in top condition. These high standards give every participant a safe and exciting experience, so you can enjoy the adventure with complete confidence. Our minimum age is 3, although this really depends on the child’s height and weight.
There’s also no maximum age to enjoy the zipline; anyone can take part, as long as they don’t have a heart condition. This activity is also not recommended for pregnant women because of the possible jolts and the adrenaline involved. Beyond these precautions, we have no other restrictions, so people of all ages can enjoy the thrill and adventure of the zipline in a safe and fun way.
You don’t need any special item to enjoy the zipline; practically any clothes will do, as long as they’re comfortable and let you move freely. Sporty or casual clothes that don’t restrict your movement are recommended. If you have long hair, it needs to be tied back; if you need one, we’ll give you a hair tie. With these simple tips, everyone can enjoy the thrill of the zipline without worrying about what they’re wearing.
We work with Petzl equipment, a manufacturer specialized in gear for work at height, climbing and mountaineering. The harnesses, helmets, pulleys and carabiners we use are CE certified under the European Standards (EN) for personal protective equipment, and many are also certified by the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation). These certifications ensure that the zipline equipment has been rigorously tested and meets the highest safety standards worldwide.
